Shane has over 17 years of Electric Power Utility experience at Avista Utilities. Shane’s current role is as a Senior Distribution Operations Engineer at Avista. His career has largely been focused on Distribution Engineering Design and Electric Operations Engineering, and has included lead Engineering roles in Smart Grid, Grid Modernization, and most recently in Grid Hardening and Wildfire Resiliency. Shane has also been an Adjunct Engineering Instructor in Gonzaga’s T&D Program since 2012, and teaching undergraduate Engineering courses at Gonzaga University since 2014.
